Towards Simultaneous Electrical and Optical Studies of Single Biomolecules

Back to search results

Advances in optical microscopy and nanoscale electronic devices have brought both to the point where the study of biology at the single molecule level is viable. These two approaches, developed separately, have reached sufficient maturity that there is now opportunity to develop platforms where they can be deployed simultaneously to gain deeper insight into the functional dynamics of biomolecular systems.
